Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel.
This is the arrival day. During this day the tourists will be waited and transferred from the airport to Bucharest. The rest of the day is free.
In the afternoon, meet the tour guide and fellow travelers and after a walk through the Old Town, with many extraordinary terraces full of people, we will stop at Carul cu Bere where we dine in a true Romanian atmosphere. Overnight in Bucharest.
We will visit Bucharest, the capital of Romania, representing the central scene of Romania’s political, artistic, university, financial and cultural life. We step into the Palace of Parliament, known as the second largest building in the World, after the Pentagon – with a floor area of 330,000 sqm and the third in the world as volume, with 2,550,000 m3.
On the list of major attractions in Bucharest we have included Village Museum – an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herastrau Park and a beautiful sightseeing tour around the city's most important landmarks: University Square, Revolution Square, Patriarchal Cathedral, Unirii Square, Arc de Triomphe and Scanteii Square. We will stop in all these places for explanations from the guide, photos short walks.
We take dinner in a traditional restaurant and prepare for the long journey that begins tomorrow morning. Overnight in Bucharest.
We leave from the hotel at 8:00 heading to Sinaia where we visit the outstanding Peles Castle and Peles National Museum – a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, afterwards we make a stop in an oasis of spirituality at Sinaia Monastery. After the lunch in a famous local restaurant, we will head to Busteni where we can enjoy the view of Bucegi Mountains in the Cantacuzino Castle Park.
Then we go to Brasov where we will visit the Counsel Square, Avenue of the Republic, the Black Church and we will finish the day in the Cerbul Carpatin restaurant (Carpathian Stag restaurant) for an unforgettable evening. Overnight in Brasov.
After the breakfast we take the cable car to get up on top of Tampa Mountain where we enjoy a panoramic view of the city. After we descend from the top we head towards another top where we visit an extraordinary Medieval Citadel in the town of Rasnov.
In the evening we go to Poiana Brasov and after a trip through the mountain resort will end the day at Sura Dacilor restaurant where we serve an absolutely unique dinner. On the way we stop for photos in several locations because we have a panoramic view of Brasov city. Overnight in Brasov.
In the morning we visit the famous and legendary Castle Dracula. We will have time to buy souvenirs in the local market after that.
After the experience with Dracula going to explore the peacefulness in a place of a rare beauty – Moeciu. We will have the lunch here.
In the evening departure to Sibiu where we accommodate and there is free time to relax for everyone. We take dinner before ending this day. Overnight in Sibiu.
Considered to be one of the most beautiful Romanian towns, due to its unique architectural style and to the impressive complex of museums, Sibiu was awarded the official title of 2007 European Capital of Culture. We will start the day with a walking tour of Sibiu. The town’s touristic attractions are: The Evangelical Church, The Orthodox Cathedral, The Roman-Catholic Church, The Stairs Tower, The Council Tower etc.
Moving towards Biertan, we will enjoy a wonderful landscape. We will arrive in Biertan.
Biertan is a commune in central Romania, in the north of the Sibiu County, 80 km north of Sibiu and 29 km east of Mediaş. Biertan is one of the most important Saxon villages with fortified churches in Transylvania, having been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1993. Overnight in Biertan.
Sightseeing in Sighisoara, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Europe. Spend the day seeing the sights, such as the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, Scholars’ Wooden Staircase, Venetian House, Hermann Oberth Square. Overnight in Sighisoara.
Viscri, known as the village in which Prince Charles of Great Britain has a vacation home, Viscri is more than that. In this Saxon village, located at 30 km from Sighisoara, one may visit the oldest fortified church in Transylvania, dating from 1210, but an universe of peace could be found, far away from the third millennium tumult. We will visit Viscri fortified church. They say about this place that “Whoever comes to Viscri, sticks for ever!"
We enjoy a traditional lunch in a very traditional place then we are going to Rupea, a town settled and founded by germans in the 12th century. They built a remarkable fortress with three rings. Overnight in Rupea or Viscri.

This amazing road called The Transfagarasan highway, with endless curves and sheer drops passes over the Fagaras mountains in Transylvania, at 2,000 meters. We will go on this road til we reach Balea Lake, a glacier lake situated at 2,034 m of altitude in the Fagaras Mountains and then we go back to Curtea de Arges, if the time permits, to visit Curtea de Arges Monastery, an important monument on the map of Romania, if not we will head straight to Bucharest on highway A1. Overnight in Bucharest.
