Pick-up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. This is the arrival day. During this day the tourists will be waited and transferred from the airport to Bucharest. You will take part at the program depending on your arrival time.
We visit a major attraction in Bucharest – Village Museum – an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herastrau Park.
Today you'll get to know the beautiful and lively Old Town of Bucharest, also known for the famous area of Lipscani, is the perfect place to explore and get to know the city. Holding many historic buildings and attractions, the Old Town has benefited from restoration in recent years and it is now one of the cultural highlights and top spots where you can get a real feeling for the city and rub shoulders with the locals. Before we dine, some historical sights are not to be missed: including the Museum of the Old Princely Court, the Church of the Old Princely Court, the Hanul Lui Manuc and the National Library of Romania.
Overnight in Bucharest.
After a beautiful sightseeing tour around the city's most important landmarks: University Square, Revolution Square, Unirii Square and Patriarchal Cathedral, we start our day in the Palace of Parliament, known as the second largest building in the World, after the Pentagon – with a floor area of 330,000 sqm and the third in the world as volume, with 2,550,000 m3.
Now sit back, relax and let the grand tour begin. We take our first stop in Sinaia, where we will visit the outstanding Peles Castle and Sinaia Monastery. The rest of the day is free, when we have dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight in Sinaia or Busteni.
After breakfast we take the cable car to the top of the Bucegi Mountain at Babele for an magnificent adventure. After lunch we enjoy a walk in the Cantacuzino Castle Park with a magnificent view over Bucegi Mountains.
We leave Busteni and we head to Brasov, often called “'The Romanian Salzburg” a beautiful city where we will visit the Counsel Square, Avenue of the Republic, the Black Church and we will finish the day in the Cerbul Carpatin restaurant (Carpathian Stag restaurant) for an unforgettable evening. Overnight in Brasov.
We sleep more and we leave from the hotel to Rasnov where we will visit the beautiful mountaintop citadel. After this we go straight to visit the famous Bran Castle -Dracula. Here we will take time for shopping. We continue to stay in the Brasov area for the whole day and we will have lunch in the mountainous area of Moeciu. The ones who will not dine can enjoy a beautiful landscape.
In the evening we go to Poiana Brasov and after a trip through the mountain resort we'll end the day at Sura Dacilor restaurant where we serve an absolutely unique dinner. On the way, we stop for photos in several locations in order to have a panoramic view over Brasov city. Overnight in Brasov.
We continue our adventure to Sibiu, considered to be one of the most beautiful Romanian towns, due to its unique architectural style and to the impressive complex of museums, Sibiu was awarded the official title of 2007 European Capital of Culture. We will do the town’s most touristic attractions: The Evangelical Church, The Orthodox Cathedral, The Roman-Catholic Church, The Stairs Tower, The Council Tower, etc. After lunch we visit Dumbrava Sibiului and Paltinis. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Sibiu.
We start our journey to one of the most amazing roads in the world, called “Transfagarasan” with endless curves and sheer drops across the Fagaras mountains in Transylvania. We will stop at 2,000 meters.at Bâlea Lake, a glacier lake situated at 2,034 m of altitude in the Făgăraș Mountains After the lunch we will continue our trip to Curtea de Arges Monastery, another important monument on the map of Romania. Overnight in Arges County.
After the breakfast, if time allows, we will visit the villagers in the area and learn about their life style. We will learn about: milking cows, how they do cheese and "tzuika" (the local word for brandy) and other aspects of their life.. This area is picturesque and the people have not given up the traditional means.
Well, our tour is almost complete. Our last few stops will be where everything started, in Bucharest. It is indeed a fascinating city for anyone crossing its borders. But there is more to see here then just the old town. We invite you on a discovery trip right next to capital city, where more beautiful sights and attractions await, such as the enchanting Brancoveanu Palace.
