Pick-up from the airport and after a beautiful sightseeing tour around the city's most important landmarks:Revolution Square, University Square, Unirii Square, Patriarchal Cathedral, we start our day in the Village Museum – an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herastrau Park.
The rest of the day is free until the evening when after a walk through the old town. Though much of Romania's capital was bulldozed by the communists, the old town survived and is abuzz with bars, cafes and restaurants. Here we'll stop at Carul cu Bere where we dine in a true Romanian atmosphere. Overnight in Bucharest.
We start the day in Bucharest visiting a major landmark – The Palace of Parliament, known as the second largest building in the World, after the Pentagon – with a floor area of 330,000 sqm and the third in the world as volume, with 2,550,000 m3.
After that, we will drive North to Bucovina passing through the vineyards of Vrancea. On the way we will stop for lunch along the way.
As soon as we reach Bucovina region, we will explore the hills and exquisite beauty of this area. Later in the afternoon, in the town of Campulung Moldovenesc, we will experience an exclusively organized interactive egg-painting demonstration by a local artist in her home, this being one of the local traditions of the area. The rest of the day is free until dinner in the best restaurant from Bucovina "La Popasul Baciului", in an authentic local atmosphere. Overnight in Campulung Moldovenesc.
We begin our day with Voronet Monastery, the most beautiful and most famous out of all, known as the Sistine Chapel of the East and featuring one the best preserved Last Judgment fresco in this part of the World. The next visit will be Moldovita Monastery, a majestic masterpiece of art and spirituality.
For lunch we will enjoy culinary treats of Bucovina in a rustic location.
We continue with Folk Customs Museum of Bucovina, an authentic window into the local culture. In the second part of the day we visit the very famous Putna Monastery and we will end the day in Vatra Dornei town where we stay over night.
After breakfast we start our day via Poiana Stampei, overwhelmed by the charming landscapes of this place. We continue to Colibita Lake. The landscape on the road to this lake is beautiful. Today we will just enjoy a relaxing holiday in this perfect location. The air is fresh, the landscape is beautiful and peaceful, there are plenty of restaurants where you can eat. We dine here in restaurant with traditional folk music. Overnight in Colibita
Today, as we head towards Piatra Neamt, we will stop at Poiana Largului and Durau, we'll get to know the customs and traditions of this wonderful area. In some areas, these traditions and customs have been preserved just as in the past without the influences of the modern world in which we live. So enjoying these 2 mountain resort Durau and Poiana Largului
We will stop at Piatra Neamt to take the cable car to the Cozla Hill, an ideal place from where we can admire the city and its surroundings from a considerable height. We continue to Neamt Fortress, which is one of the most important medieval monuments in Romania and the symbol of the most glorious period of Moldova, under the rule of Stephen the Great. We dine in a traditional restaurant and we spend this ight in Piatra Neamt
We will continue our route to Sighisoara through the dramatic cliffs of Bicaz, a truly unique experience and after that we take a well deserved rest in the Red Lake area.
Afternoon arrival to Sighisoara – World Heritage Site and the only still inhabited medieval citadel in Europe. Overnight in Sighisoara.
Before starting your walking tour of old Sighisoara attend an exclusive informal talk on Vlad the Impaler – Dracula: what is truth and what is fiction. Sighisoara is one of a kind. It was developed by the German settlers as of late 12th century.
We spend the time until the lunch seeing the sights, such as the Clock Tower, Church on the Hill, Scholars’ Wooden Staircase, Venetian House, Hermann Oberth Square.
After lunch, moving towards Bran, we will first stop in Biertan. Biertan is a commune in central Romania, in the north of the Sibiu County, 80 km north of Sibiu and 29 km east of Mediaș. Biertan is one of the most important Saxon villages with fortified churches in Transylvania, having been on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites since 1993. We arrive in Bran late in the afternoon where we relax waiting for dinner. Overnight in Bran area.
In the morning we visit the famous and legendary Castle Dracula. We will have time to buy souvenirs in the local market after that.
After the experience with Dracula we are going to explore the peacefulness in a place of a rare beauty – Moeciu. We will have the lunch here.
We continue with an extraordinary Medieval Citadel in the town of Rasnov and in the afternoon we head to the most beautiful city in Romania – Brasov. Here we will visit the Counsel Square, Avenue of the Republic, the Black Church and we will finish the day in the Cerbul Carpatin restaurant (Carpathian Stag restaurant) for an unforgettable last evening. Overnight in Brasov.
We leave the hotel at 8:00 heading to Sinaia where we will visit the outstanding Peles Castle and Peles National Museum – a Neo-Renaissance castle in the Carpathian Mountains, afterwards we make a stop in an oasis of spirituality at Sinaia Monastery.
We continue our journey to Bucharest for airport transfer.
