Azuga is a small resort town nestled in the mountains of Prahova county in the Wallachian region of Romania, at an altitude of aproximately 900 m which offers Azuga an amazing mountain landscape of great beauty
Azuga is located at the foot of the Bucegi mountains, and contains the longest ski run in Romania - Sorica. The town also has a famous beer factory that brews Azuga Beer.
Situated at the foot of the Bucegi Montains, 4 km distance from Busteni, 6 km distance from Predeal and 12 km from Sinaia, its favored forms of tourism are: skiing, climbing, snowboard, hiking, resting and there is the possibility of summer sports.
